The Portal serves as a resource for
permaculture information as well as the online home for our
extraordinary permaculture site on Orcas Island, the Bullock's
Permaculture Homestead. For over 25 years we have applied our shared
experience to create what experts refer to as the finest permaculture
site in North America. Together we develop and implement practical
solutions for sustainable living while offering hands-on permaculture
courses, workshops, skill-building, and more.

28 Jan 2015 - We are taking a break from offering our usual 3-week Permaculture Design Course in 2015. However, the PDC offered at Alderleaf Wilderness College will come to our place for a portion of theirs (see details here). We will also be branching out and offering some other, topic-specific courses during 2015 (such as an advanced design course!), so stay tuned!
28 Jan 2015 - Education Director, Dave Boehnlein, has written Practical Permaculture Design with co-author Jessi Bloom! The Bullock's Permaculture Homestead features prominently. It should hit the shelves in February 2015!
